What is Aphasia?
Aphasia is an acquired neurogenic language disorder resulting from an injury or a stroke, typically to the left hemisphere of the brain.
Impairments seen in aphasia are broadly seen under the categories of:
Spoken language expression
Spoken language comprehension
Written expression (Agraphia)
Reading comprehension (Alexia)
